Studio Luce is based in El Paredon, on the Pacific coast of Guatemala. Traditionally the main economy in the village was fishing, however since 2016 the tourism scene has taken off and it is now one of the most popular beach destinations in the country. It is home to iconic black sand beach, the best surf in Guatemala, turtle sanctuaries and surrounded by an entire mangroves eco-system.
